How to choose the right electric ball valve


According to reports, in the next 10 years, my country will have more than 20000 kilometers of oil pipelines to be built, including transnational oil pipelines such as Russia and Kazakhstan. In addition, after the "West-East Gas Pipeline", my country will build more than 20000 kilometers of transnational gas pipelines and branch lines.
These projects require more than 20000 large-diameter pipeline ball valves, medium and small-diameter ball valves and flat valves. There will also be 10-20 large-scale oil refineries of 10 million tons, a batch of large-scale ethylene plants of 800000-1 million tons will be newly built, renovated and expanded, and more than 10 sets of large-scale PTA plants of 500000-600000 tons/year that have been approved and are to be approved, which will provide a huge market for the valve industry; the construction of large fertilizer and ammonia plant will also provide opportunities for the valve manufacturing industry; in addition, direct coal liquefaction is likely to form a new industry, due to the high working temperature, high pressure and high solid particle content of the direct coal liquefaction process medium, the valve has high requirements, will form an emerging market. According to valve industry technicians, when developing these new electric ball valves, attention should be paid to the promotion and application of new technology. For example, the development of large-diameter integral ball valves for long-distance pipelines should adopt integral welding technology. In order to improve the corrosion resistance and erosion resistance of valve sealing surfaces, a few manufacturers have begun to adopt supersonic flame spraying tungsten carbide technology. At the same time, attention should be paid to the coating modification of sealing surfaces with nano-scale materials and the development of laser cladding technology.
In addition, the cobalt-chromium-tungsten plasma wire feeding automatic surfacing welding process applied in the valve industry for many years should continue to be promoted to replace manual welding to ensure the quality of the valve sealing surface. In order to realize the automatic control of the process flow of the engineering device, the development of intelligent electric and hydraulic transmission valves should be strengthened. Accelerate the development of new transmission modes such as magnetic transmission, and develop new closed magnetic transmission electric ball valve series to eliminate leakage between valve stem and packing, make it suitable for flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive media and pipelines that require locking and avoiding misoperation.
